A rafting trip is about floating the currents, shooting rapids, swimming…It is also about peace and quite, freedom from the electronic contraptions that govern our lives. It’s about setting camp in the soft sand on river’s edge, being lulled to sleep by the gentle lap of water under extravagant bouquets of stars. It’s about waking up to the song of a bullfrog, the screech of an osprey and the wafting aroma of fresh brewed coffee
Our river guides are hosts extraordinaire. They handle all the details to insure your comfort and well being.
Bright eyed
On your river adventure we feed you well…with hot breakfast as the day’s sunlight creeps into the canyon, to gourmet meals throughout the day. We provide all meals, from lunch the first day through lunch the last day. We serve fresh, wholesome food made with the best ingredients available. We make every effort to accommodate your special dietary needs. Our lunches are served buffet style: a rich assortment of breads, lunch meats, cheeses, baked tofu, condiments, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, cookies, juice…
It takes three!
Our dinners are informal feasts…complete with savory appetizers, zesty salads and California wines. Our most popular entrees: grilled salmon with fresh mango salsa, fresh Ahi with raspberry vinaigrette, spicy Thai chicken with a cool jicama and lime relish, polenta with roasted eggplant and sweet pepper ratatouille. Our desserts: tart lemon bars, cream puffs, chocolate truffles…
We like our morning coffee good and strong. Breakfast consists of assorted bagels and breads, fresh seasonal fruit, eggs or tofu scramble, buckwheat pancakes with blueberries, granola and cereals…. Decaf, teas, hot chocolate and juice are always available.
A comfy bed
“Our family just took a two-day trip with you on the Lower Klamath and wow… we had a fantastic time. We loved the kayaks, rafts, wildlife, food, stories and camping on the river. The waterfall hike was outstanding. Thank you so much for sharing this world with us in a gentle, kind way.” — Dan, Lori, Selena & Shannon Hennessey
Breakfast al fresco
“We all had a marvelous time…The little “extras to celebrate my wife’s birthday were simply lovely.”Dennis Sheridan
