A special adventure for father and son
Your river rafting day starts at 9:30am at the Tree of Heaven Campground.
While we shuttle cars to the takeout location, you and your kids can explore the Nature Trail at Tree of Heaven. Make this time extra fun by asking us for a scavenger hunt list to help your youngsters keep track of what they discover. There are prizes!
Soon we’ll load your family into rafts.
We’ll bring along some inflatable kayaks, for you and your older children to try. With a little instruction and practice in the quiet sections of the Klamath River, young teens to adults are soon ready to take on a class II rapid.
The day-long trip is filled with opportunity for swimming and waterplay, and even some seasonal berry picking.
Warm Klamath waters
Our guides are trained to help your children discover new ways to enjoy the Klamath River environment, pointing out wildlife and encouraging them to explore and test their new river skills.
We’re all about safety, providing every family member with the best possible safety gear, and maintaining safety practices at all times.
For day trips, we’ll stop for a sumptuous sandwich bar lunch and river bank exploration and play. Let us know if you have dietary restrictions.
For half day trips, usually meet at noon unless otherwise arranged. A light snack is provided.
Our happy day of river rafting fun ends at around 4pm when we reach the takeout point.
