Trinity River Rafting
Class 3 – June-September – 1 or 2 days
Trinity River Rafting Trip information
The Trinity River is the Klamath River’s largest tributary. It is part of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers system. Local native Americans call it “the Hoopa”. Cool, clear waters on a hot summer day, surfing waves, big drops, challenging class 2 and 3 rapids best describe the scenic canyon of the Trinity. Excellent run for river rafts and inflatable kayaks!
The Trinith River is bordered by the Trinity Alps Wilderness, lakes, streams, camping and the historical town of Weaverville.
“We were impressed with the attitude of the guides and the example they set of not just skill in their craft, but a reverence for the river and the natural world.” –Anna Rainville, Waldorf School Teacher
